Over lockdown, Dishoom released the epic home kit – the naan rolls! If you haven’t tried them you are missing out. One of my favourite breakfasts is their bacon naan roll: tasty bacon, yoghurt, coriander, chilli jam all put in a fluffy Naan. Now you can enjoy Dishoom at Home.

They have now released another epic kit – the Dishoom Home Feast. Priced at £60 you get an amazing selection of dishes, including the most loved ones, all with some mango lassi. It truly is from Bombay with Love.
It is nice to be back out again but it’s even nicer, with the days getting shorter, to get home from work, put on your loungewear and tuck into the most scrumptious, restaurant standard food.
The feast is more than enough to feed two comfortably. Three or four people could enjoy the feast if you cook some rice or more rotis.
What comes in the Home Feast
- House Black Daal
- Mattar Paneer
- Lamb Sheekh Kababs (2)
- Murgh Malai (9 pieces)
- Bhel
- Kachumber
- 3 Tawa Rotis
- Mango Lassi
- Gulkand Mess

In addition to the above, you get 4 skewers, a Dishoom dishcloth, incense sticks and a menu card with the instructions. The card has a QR Code that will direct you to videos on how to make some of the dishes.
The packaging was eco friendly where possible and the feast came well packed.
From start to finish it took about an hour to prepare the feast. This included prepping the vegetables, assembling the lamb kebabs, making the roti and putting together the dishes.

The dishes all tasted fresh, flavoursome and up to the standard I was expecting (high). The quality of the ingredients was great and the texture of the dishes was perfect. The flavour was just like having it at the restaurant.
Paired with the utterly delicious mango lassi and finished off with an Indian twist on the classic Eton mess, this was definitely a feast.
What I loved about the feast was there was something for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Normally it’s one or the other when ordering home kits, especially for 2 people.
Kev & I enjoyed it and had left over for the next day which I just reheated.
