Ingredients for the homemade strawberry simple syrup:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup sliced strawberries
How to make the Strawberry Simple Syrup:
- In a saucepan, combine the water, granulated sugar, and sliced strawberries.
- Simmer the mixture over low heat for approximately 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
- Afterward, carefully strain the syrup into a heatproof jug using a sieve, without pressing down on the strawberries. This will avoid the syrup from getting any bits. These strawberries make a perfect jam.

- Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze completely.
