Good morning world! How are you this sunny (not for long I hear) Monday morning? ⁣ ⁣ Fig season is back and I can’t get enough of eating good toasted bread (sourdough with raisin) @lepainquotidienuk topped with cream cheese, sliced figs, honey 🍯 & walnuts. ⁣ ⁣ Are you a fig fan?
Happy Friday 😃. It looks like the sun is out to play this weekend which means it’s totally acceptable to indulge into lots of ice cream 🍨 right? ⁣ ⁣ Here is the perfect #baklavaicecreamsandwich from the @darlishicecream pop up @coventgardenldn ⁣ ⁣ 📷: Saffron, Rose & Pistachio ice cream sandwiches into a crispy baklava 😋
Pistachio & Rose 🌹 are ingredients I am always drawn to in food & drink. Do you have a particular favourite?⁣ ⁣ Couple of weeks ago at the #leicestercakeclub #meetup we all had to bring a #freefrom bake. Surprisingly all but mine were Vegan and they were really good. ⁣ ⁣ I made some flourless brownie cupcakes using @beachbody recipe. The perfect healthy chocolate fix made with chickpeas. To make them pretty I topped them with chopped pistachios & rose petals 😋. Don’t you love finding healthy but good treats?
