Pistachio Affogato
A twist on the Italian dessert, this version includes pistachio creme to add to the flavour and give it a delicious velvety texture.

- 2 scoops of Vanilla ice-cream or Gelato
- 1-2 tsp pistachio crème
- 1 shot of coffee
- 5-8 Chopped pistachios
Start by roughly chopping your pistachios
Using a small spoon design the inside of your cup with the pistachio creme and put a thin layer on the rim. You do not need a thick layer because a little goes a long way. It depends on how sweet you like it
Dip the rim in the chopped pistachios
To half your cup, spoon the vanilla ice cream. A spatula worked well for this
Pour your shot of coffee in the other half
Mix and enjoy
